Angela's Disposal Nursery and Daycare-A Back-Story about how the subjects in “Time For Disposal” got disposed of and why.

                                                             Angela's Disposal Nursery and Daycare

A Back-Story about how the subjects in “Time For Disposal” got disposed of and why.

One sunny, warm day, Angela, the owner of “Angela's Disposal Nursery and Daycare” came to work and looked around and saw that they were just about to get a whole lot more subjects and they needed the room to put them. “MAN! Some of these subjects have to GO! What is today? (Angela asks herself, looking at her calendar on her PDA.) Trash day!!! I need to get all of the dirty diapers out for the trash ladies, Zoe and Sadie!!! Angela then walks out of her office and then into the main disposal nursery where she goes to the nearest crib and starts to look at the dates of when each of the subjects came in. She then Marks that subject’s paperwork with a note that says:
“ Dispose of this subject in today’s trash!”
Then she goes to the next crib, checks the date, then goes to the next one, checks the date and then she sees that this subject has been here awhile and needs to be disposed of.
She writes: “Please dispose of this subject in today’s trash! Take out this subject’s diapers and clothing as well as the crib sheets too, they are dirty and ripped!” Then she goes to the next one and makes a note. It reads: “Take me out to the trash can today! make sure to throw out all of my remaining diapers and my cloth diapers too.” Then she goes to the next crib and writes a note that reads: Change my cloth diapers, and put me into a disposable diaper! Then toss me into the trash can that is going out in today’s trash! Make sure the maids and Janitors come to put me into the trash today and take me out for disposal! Today is trash day!”
Then she checks the rest of the clipboards and then leaves the room. Then she goes to the second nursery and checks the dates of arrival. Angela marks off at least five more that need to go out by next week even if they have to toss the subjects out in her own home trash cans….because they won’t fit or toss them into her other daycare’s trash if they have to. This is the back story of how Angela got to this day……
The owner of "Angela's Disposal Nursery and Daycare” comes walking out, holding two laundry baskets full of clean, and folded cloth diapers. The basket 1 has 60 folded cloth diapers in it. Basket two is half full of unfolded cloth diapers and clean onesies.
Miss...hey miss....can you take these please? I also have my payment for you too. She sets the baskets down next to the truck then reaches into her pocket and takes out a check for $400. “I only owe you...$60 but the rest is for you.” Says Angela.
“Sure” Zoe tells Angela. Zoe then takes the baskets and tosses them into the truck.
“Thanks” Zoe says, taking the payment. “Big load today….” Zoe adds half asking Angela about the size of the load. Yea....I'm so sorry about that....” Angela Says, apologizing for the amount of diaper trash. “No problem” Says Zoe.
“Usually, we only have eight totes with our usual 32 gallon trash cans full too. We were given 14 totes to accommodate the babies that we have to dispose of.” Explains Angela
Zoe dumps tote 8 and moves tote 9 with the 6 year old to dump him.
“Yeah got 2 packed in already looks like number 3 is about to go. I see he objected to disposal.” Says Zoe to Angela. “Yea....he did” Sighs Angela. “Could I watch, as the compactor does the diapers? Asks Angela. “We have to wrap the wet baby's diapers with special diaper disposal bags....even if the diaper is still on the baby.”
“Sure. Mind giving me a hand? I will dump the final totes, if you can do the 32 cans..” Says Zoe to Angela. “Sure thing....” Zoe flips tote 10, while Angela dumps 2 cans.
Angela looks in the hopper. “Looks like the other 2 didn’t pack in all the way. Says Angela. “Yeah, truck is about half full, but this load will push them in the holding area.
Angela then goes and gets the first 32 gallon trash can. she takes the lid off and then takes the can to the hopper. she lifts it up and then dumps all of the diapers into the hopper, the diapers spill out as Angela taps the can on the side of the hopper.
The second can, Angela dumps into the hopper, spilling out all of the diapers all over the hopper. The boy cries as a wet diaper lands business end over his face.
Zoe hooks up and dumps tote 11. “I am going to run the packer, as soon as she dumps her next 2 cans.” Explains Zoe to the boy in the hopper. Angela then reaches for can 3 and then dumps it...tons more diapers spill out onto the boy, covering his face, some with the wet inner liners in his face, head and body. Angela uses the bottom of the can to press the diapers down a tad before going to get the other two cans. Angela dumps can 4 and then stands back just far enough to see inside the hopper.
"So, how have you been?” Asks Angela.
Zoe pushes the button to start the packer cycle. “I have been good, picking up diapers and babies…keeps me busy.” Said Zoe making small talk with Angela.
“I can see that.” Says Angela. The blade pushes on the diapers, moving them around. The baskets of clothing and cloth diapers, pushes against the wall of crushed garbage, including the baby girl and boy. The baskets shatter, crack and bend up under the force, the blade pushes the new garbage against the wall of crushed garbage, pushing the dirty girl into the truck.
“I have a question...” Says Angela to Zoe. “Sure, fire away. Says Zoe as she grabs tote 12. “How many diapered disabled people do you take each day?” Asks Angela to Zoe.
“Probably 25-30 on an average day.” States Zoe to Angela.
“What is the average age range? I'm thinking about taking some older adults too....in my disposal daycare.” Asks and states Angela.
“Most of them are toddlers, between 5-12. I get a few teenagers and a very few adults.” States Zoe.
“Ok....but would you...take a few adults if they were brought out to the truck? I KNOW they won't fit in the totes.” Asks Angela.
“Parents usually get tired of all the dirty diapers around that time. States Zoe.
“I don't get tired of wet diapers...it's my JOB to take interest.” States Angela.
Then Angela grabs can 5 and then dumps it into the truck.
“I can take adults, though I either need their cooperation or help if they are not in a tote.” States Zoe to Angela. “Oh...ok....I'll have to see if I can get them put into totes.” Says Angela. “Yeah but people like you and me are exceptions we work around diapers all the time. Says Zoe with a smile. “true.....I am used to the smell.” States Angela
“They fit pretty well. Put them in the tote, then fill the tote with diapers around them.” Suggests Zoe to Angela. “Like I do with the toddlers and teens? Ok….”Says Angela grabbing can six. Then Angela dumps can six.
Zoe hooks up and dumps tote 13, and then wheels tote 14 to the truck.
“If I put out some baby clothing and a lot of cloth diapers....would you take them? “ Asks Angela. “Yeah, I will take any diaper or baby related item including dolls.” States Zoe to Angela. “GREAT! I have a TON of dolls that I have NO idea what to do with. Next week, I'll have them out for you. Says Angela. Then Angela puts the cans back at the curb. “Sure thing. You put it out ill crush it.” States Zoe to Angela.
“Thanks. One more thing...miss, what happens if one of the parents comes back to me and asks for their baby back and you are here loading them? What should I tell them?”
Zoe tips tote 14 into the truck. “That is up to you. I Don’t want to bother with it. Tell them they have already been hauled to the landfill. If they want to get them out, as long as they are not packed in the truck, it is possible but, if they are packed, then I cannot get them out.” Explains Zoe.
“AH, ok. I almost forgot, someone from your company called me and told me that they are going to start having me sign over custody of the babies to your company. I am supposed to sign a paper that gives you rights to them before you leave. I brought the paper that I picked up at your company's office yesterday. States Angela, taking out the folded paper from her back pocket. She unfolds it and then presents it to Zoe. “It has been signed. Also, on the paper, are the list of all the baby's names, what they were wearing when disposed of.” States Angela before stepping backwards, about to head back inside.
“Great, thanks,” Zoe takes the paper. Then Angela waves to Zoe as she goes back into the disposal nursery and daycare.
Zoe waves back then runs the pre-crusher to push the huge pile of diapers down into the hopper then runs the packer to crush them. Zoe gets back in the cab putting the paperwork in the file area along with the payment.
